I came across an article recently concerning the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) shutting down POM Wonderful's health claims concerning their own product from Pomegranate Juice.
The gist of the article is NOT a slam on POM Wonderful juice drink per se. It is an article exposing the fact that drug companies are guilty of the main complaint by the FTC in that POM Wonderful funded their own studies of their product. The drug companies are essentially funding their own studies too and most of them are NO WHERE NEAR as complete and extensive as was POM Wonderful's testing and documentation was. Thought you might find it interesting and enlightening.
