Supplements I Take Personally

Supplements I Take Personally

I thought I would make a list of food supplements, vitamin, mineral, herbal formulas etc. that I take on a daily basis. These are NOT etched in stone and they change periodically based on availability, pricing and research I have done. In general terms, here is what I take:

#1 A good quality multi, preferably with natural vitamins, minerals etc. as opposed to a synthetic formula. I am currently taking “Your Life Multi 45 Plus men’s with 1000 I.U of vitamin D3, fish oil, probiotics and Ester C
#2 Nature Made super B complex
#3 Spring Valley D3 5000 I.U.
#4 Nature Made 1200 mg omega 3 fish oil
#5 Rite Aid Resurgen or Emergen C 1000 mg Vitamin C powder packs (1AM & 1PM),  AND 2/500 mg vitamin C caps with rose hips (Total 3 grams daily)
#6  Co Enzyme Q10 100 mg (very important if you are on any statin drugs for cholesterol or triglycerides as the statins deplete your body’s CQ10.
#7 Spring Valley cinnamon caps 1000 mg (3 daily) with dinner
#8 MagOx magnesium 400 mg 1X daily
#9 Nature’s Bounty cod liver oil 2 caps daily
#10 Nature’s Bounty 500mcg chromium picolinate 1AM & 1PM
#11 Spring Valley 400mg lecithin concentrate

I also take (1) scoop of All Day Energy Greens powder, and 1 table spoon of Bragg’s raw organic, unfiltered,  Apple cider vinegar with the Mother, along with one 1000mg vitamin C pack vigorously stirred into 8 ounces of cold water, or low calorie fruit juice and take it once a day. The apple cider vinegar and the energy greens help the PH factor. See link for “The PH Miracle For Diabetes”.  http://phmiraclediet.wordpress.com/

Typical breakfast: (2) packets of instant Quaker Oats fruit flavored oatmeal, along with skim milk and 2 teaspoons of Nature’s Bounty cold milled organic flax seeds, and two tea spoons of Spectrum organic cinnamon flavored flax oil for omega 3’s. You can find the flax seed oil in your local grocery store in the cooler section near the eggs, cheese etc. You have to refrigerate after opening and always shake the bottle good before each use. You can also take this oil right off the spoon along with a handful of nuts, or mix it in your cottage cheese (SEE BUDWIG MIXTURE) post for directions.

Mid morning: 1 large scoop of Body Fortress 100% when protein in a glass of skim milk with ½ banana. I whip this up in my Vita Mixer (or any blender). The whey powder contains 9 essential amino acids and 9 non-essential amino acids along with 26 grams of protein.

Lunch: usually cottage cheese with light fruit cocktail OR large raw salad with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, celery, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, cold canned whole beets, cheese, chicken, etc.)

Snacks: mostly assorted nuts, such as peanuts, almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios etc. and an apple, or a navel orange (NOT orange juice or any fruit juices as they contain too much sugar)

Dinner: either chicken, Hamburg, fish, tuna fish etc. along with lightly steamed greens (consisting of some ratio of fresh green beans, kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus etc.) On the steamed greens I spray extra virgin olive oil on them and then add light Italian dressing to taste along with a little black pepper.

On the days I stick to this diet regimen, my BG readings and subsequent A1C readings will show a dramatic improvement. This assumes of course that you are avoiding the empty calorie foods (I.E. cakes, pies, puddings, doughnuts, candy, ice cream, chocolate syrup, white bread, french fries, fast food in general and any high carbohydrate based foods or foods with a high glycemic index.

Exodus 23:25 “Worship the Lord your God and his blessing will be upon your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.”
