HIGH Blood Pressure....Do You Have It?

If you have high blood pressure, you may not even know it as the symptoms are few and you could be in danger and not know it.

What is HIGH Blood Pressure?

It is a measurement of both Systolic (TOP number) pressure which is the pressure when your heart beats and pumps blood, and Diastolic or the (Bottom number) which measures pressure between beats.

120/80 is normally the widely accepted goal. There is some evidence that having both the top and bottom numbers lower than that is a better goal.

Here are some foods you can eat (OR drink if you have a Vita Mixer or other appropriate type blender on steroids to liquefy fruit and veggies into a green smoothie)

  • Celery
  • Kayle
  • Spinach
  • Carrots
  • Tomatoes
  • Apples
  • Mangoes
  • Apricots
  • Bananas
  • Papayas
  • Grapes
  • Oranges
  • Grapefruit (WATCH reactions with this one with current medications?)
  • Peaches
  • Strawberries

EAT THESE as opposed to liquefying:

  • Soy beans
  • Broccoli
  • Melons
  • Peas
  • Sweet potatoes
  • Tomatoes
Many of these foods contain calcium, potassium and magnesium

What if you DON'T GET YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE DOWN TO ACCEPTABLE LIMITS?

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE CONTRIBUTES TO OR IS A PRIMARY CAUSE OF HEART DISEASE, STROKE, CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE, KIDNEY DISEASE AND BLINDNESS.

Nobody wants any of those ailments.

I highly recommend buying a Vita Mixer or similar machine and start to learn how to make green smoothies. As an example, your can cut into 1 or 2 inch lengths (3) stalks of celery including the leaves. Rinse in a colander and then put them into the Vita Mixer pitcher. Add to that 1 medium carrot, 1 medium crisp apple, a handful of red grapes, a handful of kale or baby spinach and a sprig of parsley. Fill the pitcher with ice cold water about 2/3 full, place the rubberized seal top on the picture and blend till liquefied. You can add stevia to taste, or sprinkle in a tablespoon of "All Day Energy Greens" or Barley Grass powder etc. for an extra boost.

DRINK (2) 8 ounce glasses of this a day with one in the morning and one in the evening and it will do wonders for your body's PH and your blood pressure readings. You should also purchase a wrist blood pressure cuff from your local pharmacy (usually under $50.00) and get in the habit ot taking your blood pressure two or more times a day until you have it under good control

NOW, start walking 30-45 mins a day perhaps 5 or 6X weekly and cut back on the salt especially in the form of potato chips, french fries, and other fast food.

You are on your way to a healthier lifestyle.
