Vitamin C Mega Doses, Green Smoothies, Vitamin K etc. / DO NOT MIX WITH BLOOD THINNERS / CAUTION

THIS POST IS SIMPLY A PRECAUTION not to take mega doses of vitamin C, vitamin E, foods and supplements containing Vitamin K, drinking green smoothies etc. if you are on any sort of blood thinner regimen including but NOT Limited TO:

Danshen, daily Aspirin regimen, clopidogrel (Plavix), or warfarin (Coumadin)

CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR FIRST and then proceed with caution.  If in doubt about any natural supplement or green smoothie drink etc. and its possible reaction or interaction with any prescription drug you are taking and especially any blood thinner medicine, check with your DOCTOR who prescribed the blood thinner and/or prescription drug FIRST before launching into a homeopathic or naturopathic regimen.

As mentioned NUMEROUS times here in print, I am NOT a doctor and have had NO formal education in medicine and do not give advice on supplements to take or not to take. I DO provide research that I have discovered and provide information on what I take and WHY, however it is not to be taken as advice. It is for information purposes and education only.

Consult your doctor and make sure you carefully read the side effects, precautions, possible interactions and warnings that come with any prescription drug, especially so in the case of any sort of BLOOD THINNER THERAPY OR REGIMEN.

God Bless,

Dan
