I eat oatmeal with organic cold milled flax seeds, and blueberries every morning. I might substitute blueberries for the apple and perhaps add a tablespoon of organic cold pressed flax seed oil to it.

Banana Apple Oatmeal Smoothie
Blend time: 45 seconds
Yield: 2 cups (480 ml)
|1 cup (240 ml) water|
|1/4 cup (60 g) low fat vanilla or plain yogurt|
|1/2 banana, peeled|
|2 tablespoons (20 g) uncooked quick oats|
|1/4 cup (30 g) dried cranberries|
|1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon|
|1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid. |
2. Select Variable 1.
3. Turn machine on and quickly increase to Variable 10, then to High.
4. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
