OK, Let's look at the physical side:

How does this relate specifically to diabetes.
Surprisingly I found some evidence that men with Type 2 diabetes have less of a chance to develop prostate cancer than NON-diabetic men. In any event you do not NEED prostate problems in addition to all the complications of diabetes.
