I have always had a problem with triglycerides and that seems to be the thorn in my family tree (earthly gene pool). In fact the triglycerides are sometimes too high to be able to read my good cholesterol levels or my LDL/HDL ratio. I started out years ago on a combination of Lipitor/Tricor to lower overall cholesterol and especially triglycerides. I simply could not handle the side effects and potentially life threatening dangerous side effects of the combination of Lipitor and Tricor. Since coming off those two several years ago and before I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I have been on and off somewhat successful in controlling overall cholesterol and my triglyceride levels. This last blood lipid profile I had done showed my trigs were too high once again.

Excerpt:
Triglycerides are a blood lipid that facilitate the bi-directional transfer of blood glucose and adipose fat through
the liver. Very High triglycerides can convert into LDL (bad) cholesterol and can quickly precipitate cardiovascular
and pancreatic problems. High triglycerides can increase your risk of a heart attack by up to 1600% vs. normal
triglycerides & HDL cholesterol.
LDL & total cholesterol levels are impossible to accurately measure with very high triglycerides (> 500mg/dL). If
your LDL and total cholesterol are also very high, then the root cause is high triglycerides. You should not pursue
statin treatment as this will not fix the root cause and may cause other problems (we advise talking further with
your doctor if he/she has prescribed a statin regimen).
High triglycerides indicate a metabolic issue with the lipo-glucose conversion process which impairs the
conversion process between blood glucose and adipose fat, resulting in a buildup of triglycerides. This can be a
difficult condition to overcome and does not respond well to diet & exercise.
If you have high triglycerides you probably have trouble losing weight. Because high triglycerides interfere with
the bi-directional conversion of adipose fat and blood blood glucose, weight loss becomes very difficult. Many
people experience accelerated weight loss when lowering triglycerides.
I am getting ready to go to Ireland for a month or so to help my wife in ministry work that we do there. It is too late for my to place an order for the (Nialor/Sugarlor combo before I leave, however it is on the top of my list to order once I return.

Sugarlor is the blood glucose control product from Arizona Pharmaceuticals and is also a NON-Prescription formula promising exciting results.
( MY INPUT) You may want to take a hard look at BOTH of these formulas as most type 2 diabetics with a blood sugar problem also have triglycerides that are TOO HIGH. Arizona Pharmaceuticals can be reached by clicking on the listed links or by phone at 1-888-521-8156. They list FREE shipping inside of the USA. I have NO affiliation or any profit motive or remuneration from either of these products.

Proverbs 4:20-22 says, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thy eyes; keep them in the midst of thy heart. For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh.”
I think Dan Lieberman just commented again at AHS (I wasn't there) that we evolved walking 5-15 miles a day.
ReplyDeleteWalking everyday is EXTREMELY important. I think more and more studies like this will be coming forth over the next years.
Sorry to talk about my martial arts teacher again....but at 81 he STILL walks after dinner EVERY night for 2-3 hours. Yes seriously!Does it work???????? Embarrased to say..... I cant keep up with his pace. And i'm not a slouch :-)
